Question 2000 Mustang V-6 to Mark VIII Engine Swap?

We've got a near perfect 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII sitting in the garage & were thinking about selling it....BUT wondering would the Mark VIII Cobra-based 32-valve DOHC engine fit in my Mustang? Anyone out there have experience with this kind of thing? Would appreciate any & all help. Thanks!

I'm about a 6 on a scale of 1-10 mechanically. Grew up hanging around my dad while he was working on the family cars & married a guy who's dad had a Chrysler dealership & garage. He got his first car when he was 12 yrs. old (a '32 Ford 3-window coupe w/a Chrysler hemi) so I definitely have some help there!
We were hoping somebody here would have done a similar engine swap & would be able to share their experiences with us. Figured since the Mark's engine is technically a Cobra, it'd slip right into the Mustang? Seemed like a fun little project for a husband & wife team to try.

So tell me about your 5.0 conversion...how long did it take you?
