Default what mod next? 1998 cobra

i already have 3.73 gears, k&n drop-in air filter, msd wires and coils, flowmaster catback exhaust, and 315 nitto tires. i was looking at maybe long tube headers (dont know what ones yet), off road h pipe, i dont know. not looking for anything serious like a supercharger or nitrious right now. i have the engine out right now, maybe looking into head porting, maybe intake porting(is it worth it for either porting? what kind of power gains on a virtually stock engine?). what do you people think? any input would be cool!!
Thanks,
Jason

head porting will help alot on a DOHC, just don't forget to do some port work on the upper and lower intake too.... LT headers are also a + in making Max HP, dont skimp on these...also while your building HP dont forget a good clutch and how about some suspension work to help all that extra HP hook-up....things like a good set of Subframe Connectors, better shocks, struts and springs....

thanks for the info!! the upper intake is already smoothed out, but the lower intake is untouched. do i have to cut the bottem off, and port it that way to make any diffenence. or can i just port match it and smooth up what i can reach? can i just take my heads to a local head porter, or do i have to send it to a someone special?
thanks for your responce,
Jason

well the best method for porting that lower, I would to have it sent to Extrude-Hone and maybe the same wth the heads, unless you have someone local thats knowledgeable wth the Modular engine, esp a DOHC Modular engine

An excellent engine needs an excellent suspension too

Why don't you change your upper and lower arms for a better one
I recommend you a set of Roush, Edelbrock, Maximum sports, Steeda, Etc.
And you will see that it works better than originals

Hi 98 gtblkstang

Basically to eliminate suspension bind and vibration while planting your tires to the pavement.

Please see this link Steeda Steel Lower Rear Control Arms - '79-'04 Ford Mustang

Regards.
