Default Valve springs..

What valve springs should i use for the trickflow stage 1 cam?I'm a little confused on matching cams and valve springs.What do i need to know to match them up? thanks

the easiest way would be to get in touch with trick flow, all the cam manufacturers have recomended valve springs for each cam.it is pretty crucial to get it right so i would check with them.

Right, talk to their tech line. The spring must be able to close the valve in time and also not bind. When I installed their heads on a 302/347 build I thought I'd save on roller rockers of a different brand. Could not get the right contact pattern on the valve stem no matter what until I got the right rockers, then the pushrod adjusted the pattern perfectly to give me the length of pushrod I needed. Outsmarted myself.

That would be the best thing. Spring choice is critical to engine performance and valvetrain stability.
