Default Suugestions for re-grounding control stick on column?

I'm convinced if I could locate a good ground for the turn signal stick on my 1997 Cobra my intermittent issue would be solved. The right turn bulb is fine but occasionally rapidfires like a burnt out bulb - sometimes even only a click or two then fires normally.

A good way to locate and reground it seems reasonable - cleaning the front socket is another thought but getting hands in there is not appealing.

Last - a good manual with diagrams and callouts would be appreciated that doesn't cost what I paid for the car. Any suggestions?

sounds like a bad switch. Try and hardwire the ground strait to the battery with a long wire to test your theory first before u tear everything apart to save u some time. But with all the wear and tear it's prob the switch itselfe....
