Default 2000 Mustang Cobra R Brembo caliper pad change

I'm trying to take the Brembo pads off b/c they are noisy and in just a day or 2 of normal driving my silver wheels turn all black dusted.
On each caliper the pads are secured in place with 2 Pins.
Does anyone know how to remove the pins so as to take the pads off and put the new pads in? I've tried tapping them with hammer/punch but they didn't move. The pins are not frozen, you can spin them around with your fingers, they just won't release from the caliper.
Any ideas Cobra guys?
Thanks

Are you using the PBR front caliper or the Brembo caliper for a 2000 Cobra R? The two pins (on the PBR) need to have the circlip (E-shaped clip) and washer removed, before they can be pulled out. I remember having a similar problem, when I put a fresh set of front rotors and pads on my '03. The standard PBR brake pad kit (found at the dealer, but kinda pricey) includes all new parts. The included instructions state not to reuse the old pins and associated hardware. If you're using the Brembo caliper, there has to be some sort of retention clip on one end of each pin. Again, I'd use new pins, upon reassembly.
