Anyone know how to change the tube for the dipstick????? Do you have to remove the black fenderwell on the drivers side or what?? The other day i could smell burning oil and upon inspection found that my tube was broke in half about 3" from the pan!!!!!!!

I believe the tube is just pressed into the engine block....

Using needle nose or vice grip....grab twist back and forth and pull to remove the old one......

with the new one, use needle nose pliers and tap the pliers with a hammer to press it into the block....???

That's how it worked on my 79 trans am anyhow....

Thanx alot ajax!!! Looks like the biggest hurdle will be simply routing it to the oil pan!!! Does anyone know if the tube has to route between the exhaust manifold or around it????

I checked the Jeg's website and they don't mention one for the 4v. Will the one for the 2v. work on the cobra???

Both blocks are 4.6, i would say so, if you didn't already find out yet. good luck with it.
