the cobra has an active (sometimes) fault code P1518. its the IMRC's but i can't find much info on how to fix this problem. i don't know if i need to replace the motors or go into the intake. has anyone had this problem with there 97?

I have had the same code for a couple months,there are a few posts about removing the intake manifold and cleaning the imrc.I am doing mine in a few days(should only take 3 or 4 hours).
I hope just cleaning them will solve this check engine light problem.

Have you tried using SeaFoam to see if it can clean them first before removing the intake?
