HEY BRO!!
I hope this helps. On my 95' cobra, i had a reoccuring prob with headlights not working , then sometimes tail lights were not working and dash lights flickering.........changed headlight switch and all was fine for a while. then it happened again.....come to find out that i had overlooked the fact that my head light switch had a melt-down (at the socket) for the second time caused by a loose connection where the wire socket and plug prongs connect... evidently it was arcing wich causes heat and melted the plastic connector.....I mapped out where each ( individual) wire and connector would be on the plug and did away with the plug intirely ( i.e. big plastic connector). i cut and each individual wire, crimped a FEMALE spade connectors to ethem, then plugged them into the headlight switch, indevidually therefore i have a "solid" connection to each individ. cable on each switch prong, result : no loose connection, no arcing , no heat build up. no tempermental lights.
