Hello,

I just recently picked up an unmodified 1998 Cobra with 125K on it and today when I was coming home I shifted from 4th to 5th and the engine just revved like it was in neutral. I'm not familiar with the exact terminology to describe what was happening, but there were no noises or grinding during my experience.

If someone can help me understand what happened and maybe the causes I would be very appreciative. I'm just glad I have a warranty with the dealer

Nobody has any idea why I can no longer shift into 5ht gear? I'll be bringing the car to the shop on Monday so I guess I'll update then!
