Will a 2000 x-pipe work in a 2001 cobra?

Some one i know is interested in selling his x-pipe. I would like to buy it, but i dont know if it would fit in my 01 cobra. Does any one have any idea if they are the same setup? Thx.

It should. The 2000 and the 2001 still have the same body and frame. Is the 2000 off of a 4.6 then you should be fine.

Yeah, its just weird when im shopping for a certian x-pipe, it has a section for GT and a section for cobra, as if they cannot be mixed.

Come to think of it. Did the 2000 gt have the same tranny as the 01 cobra.
If not then you may run into so trouble on how the pipe was bent.

I'm not sure, i have been trying to do some research on the internet for hours, but I cant seem to find the right answer haha. Any one else have any input??

By the way, in my main subject on the post, it should read 2000 GT x-pipe.
