Default 2001 cobra clutch issues

I Bought a 2001 cobra about 3 months ago when I got it the clutch didnt squeek while idleing or driveing but now it does and it stops when I push in the Clutch slighly, but starts again when I release the clutch. I took it to the shop to have it looked at they said the clutch its self was find and didnt slip and didnt need to be replaced he sprayed silicone lobe someplace near the clutch cable and something else. and the squeek stoped for about a week then started again

also are cobra clutches supose to be stiff? I drove a neon and a evo 9 MR and there clutches were nothing like mine

Sounds like the TOB or throw out bearing. usually when they squeal, you barely touch the pedal and it stops. either needs a new one or just regreased. sucks though you'll have to drop the tranny for that. and if you do, grease the crap out of that thing and the pivot points on the fork.

It's the throw out bearing.
A TOB will squeal. A polit bearing will cherp (sounds kinda like a bird) when you rev the car in nuteral.

Eather way you should replace both when you have the clutch done. It's also not good to spray sh*t on a throw out bearing with out it being out of the car.
Just another problem down the road if it gets on the flywheel, clutch and presuer plate.
Sliicone wont help you will need a good greas to put on the bearing.
