Default power steering issue 95 cobra

Hey guys

I have a question, I finally got my 95 cobra running with the mediocre HP turbo kit stage one.
I had to remove the power steering oil cooler for everything to fit. Now my question is that my powersteering reservoir keeps spitting all the fluid out when I drive and it leaks on the header which in return has caught fire twice yesterday. It currently has no fluid left in the reservoir.
I would like to know if this is caused by air pockets in the system or what? Does it have anything to do with the removal of the powersteering cooler? We removed it and condemned whatever needed to be codemned. I dont think the cooler is a must because the GT versions dont have it and its the same setup.

I could really use some advice from you guys.

Thanks

You do have to bleed it just like brakes. Try this..
Fill it up and start your car, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left without it hitting it's stopping point. then do the samething to the right. keep going back and forth and check it every several turns and add more fluid if needed. hopefully that fixes it.
