Default 1996 Mustang 4v with a 1999 Mustang 4v intake?
I know with the 2v, when you put a PI intake on you can mount them on the NPI heads, however is it the same with the NPI 4v and the PI 4v intakes???

Did a quick search found this for you. From my understanding we did not have the PI intake as ford did not restrict our heads as much. Although there was some changes. More info in this link

The 99 intake and heads would flow better than your 96. i think for the swap sean hyland has a kit for it, can't remember for sure, but i would check them out.
