Default any terminators with straight axles

lookin to get some input on the irs to straight axle conversion for my 03 cobra.i may have a mach 1 donor, im lookin to swap my irs into the mach and vice versa.any help appreciated ...

dont know how much help i can be, but i have a good friend that had an 03 and did the swap, he said it was definitely a good move and dramatically helped with 03 and 04 wheel hops with the irs

yup, same story here, a local buddy who has the same car as me did the swap with someone with a mach1. They did it in his garage in less than a day, just parked the cars side by side and put the irs in the mach1 and the straight into the cobra

his cobra gets way better traction then mine with my stock irs

Question

I know somone with level 5 axles that they would sell me for a grand Im unsure if I should or just do a swap any input? I am going turbo if you dont know what the level 5 are its an axle/hub setup from "the drive shaft shop" they are $1,999 new and are good for 900hp at the wheels, but is it worth it? And also if I go straight axle is there any rears that are the best? what fits? I have heard mach1 a bunch I dont know what the difference is on gt and them, I am going to need aftermarket axles,,, but what is a good swap to start with year, make.... I also heard lightning rears?

its a pretty straight forward swap...hardest part will be raising the IRS back up into the other car and lining it up to get the bolts through which really isnt bad at all. I would swap the rear brakes lines, possibly the abs sensors (not sure) and the driveshaft yokes. I took my irs out, sold it, then bough an 8.8 to build up but Im pretty sure this is it
