  1. least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete.
  2. Remove two rear cover plugs from steering wheel in order to access air bag module screws.
  3. Remove driver's air bag module screws and washers, then disconnect electrical connector and carefully remove air bag module from vehicle. WARNING: To prevent injury by accidental deployment, place module on a bench with trim cover facing upward.
  4. Connect Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00010, or equivalent, to vehicle air bag wiring harness at top steering column.
  5. Open glove compartment, press sides inward to release it from instrument panel and lower glove compartment to floor.
  6. Remove righthand A/C duct, then remove passenger's air bag retaining bolts from instrument panel steel reinforcement.
  7. Disconnect electrical connector at lower lefthand corner of passenger's air bag module, then remove connector from instrument panel reinforcement.
  8. Pull gently upon each corner of air bag cover to disengage from instrument panel, then push air bag module out from behind instrument panel. WARNING: To prevent injury by accidental deployment, place module on a bench with trim cover facing upward.
  9. Install second air bag simulator 105-00010, or equivalent, on passenger's air bag harness.
  10. Connect battery ground cable. I hope this helps you out, let me know how you make out. They're all pretty much the same, I have a 96 Vert. Good luck with it, Mike.
