I have a 96 cobra and the transmission is starting to make nosie's I have already drained the fluid and put mobile one in it so I'm thinking it might be time to face reality and start saving for a new transmission. My car as some normally bolt on's but nothing major. I keep reading that the t-45's are junk can they be rebulit to be good transmissions for a mild car say under 435 hp and TQ? Or should I go with a tko or swap to a t-56. I have looked and D and D and I see they sale the kit for the t-56. I Just changed my clutch so If I stay with the t-45 I could get away with just swaping
tranny's so I know that would be allot cheaper in the short run but I like to look at the bigger picture. Any thoughts?
