i have the same problem..mine went from 10 to about 7..at least thats what the gauge sayes..i have alot of miles on it and did disassemble the complete blower to find the coating on the rotors has cooked and i took it off..im not so sure about it being worn out..i had the drivers head blow a valve which put alot of oil into the intercooler ,,i did clean what i could but i feel its still not clear enough to allow air to pass thru and my boost is going backwards,,,only thing that might be different is when heads were off i had the valve cut to a 3 angle..i have read that headers lower boost1-2lbs..i do have bbk l/ts,..things i did replace vacuum harness is new and supercharger solenoid,,,i might try the acuator next but my boost dosent drop it only goes to the t in boost,,if i pump throttle it might go up 1lb with lower vacuum...your cai is most likely your lean problem..i heard they bite,i stayed with stock box with kn filter...
