Default 99 Cobra battery drain

My 99 Cobra has some type of battery drain. If I start it every day, it seems to be fine, but if I leave it for 2 or more days...Dead Battery...I have read that it could be a short in the amp..Is this a common problem? Any sugestions or HELP? Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket alarm or anything else installed? Samething happened to my 95GT but it was the alarm sucking the juice up.

Something is def draining it. Might have to get a 12v bulb tester and start testing some fuses to see if anything is sucking it dry. Some stuff like ECM, radio and so on will drain power but it's like .75milliamps, nothing to cause the battery to drain that fast, unless it has a short in it. It's a PITA process and hopefully you find it quick. I know it can be a PITA having to start it everyday just to make sure it doesn't drain like that.
