Default 1997 cobra fuel pump?

I got a 97 cobra that is pushing like 550 horsepower. and I still got a stock 255 fuel pump and I think its needing more gas.

here is what i got done to it, let me know what pump should i get! i was going to get a dual because i heard thats what i need so please let me know i have no idea.

I am only going to list the main stuff.

30 pound injectors

Procharger and intercooler

Accufab oval throttle body

BBK long tube headers

bassani x-pipe

and i also have short shifter, better springs and shocks, 3.73 gears, and etc, but i dont think this other stuff has anything to do for how much gas i get or need so let me know please!!

I am fixing to port my heads and lower and upper intake, put forged pistons and rods, and put a 20 pound pulley on it.

an in-line pump and bigger injectors will do. have you gotten it dyno'd or anything?

If your pushing 550, i'm surprise you haven't maxed out the 30lb injectors, if not there already. I would go with 60lb if your going to port and add more boost. the 255 will be fine, get an inline BBK inline pump or maybe a BAP. Also that much power with no dyno tune or tune, might be on borrowed time. the A/F might be horrible right now.

Your choices are endless when it comes to fuel system upgrades, You'd be safe with 42 lb injectors but Siemens 60's are Good stuff! You could do and 03-04 cobra fuel tank with dual pumps but you'd be looking at upwards of $1000 plus labor.
I'd look into the Aviator pump as a bolt in replacement for the stocker and if you want you could add an external.

You may need a bigger mass air meter too, definitely needs to be tuned to know for sure...I run 60lb injectors, 90mm SCT mass air and 255 lph pump with kenne bell boost a pump and NGK plugs on my blown Cobra just to make sure nothing is short...get a wideband a/f guage installed in your car, no use blowing the motor over a $300 guage...Kenne bell boost a pump is a worthwhile gadget cheaper than all the external stuff...on Ebay fairly cheap..good luck
