No the tube won't alter the mix...you need to have your tuner just "tune" it...fuel maps and air/fuel mix, it's routine...make sure he gets the idle set correctly, cold/hot and A/C on/off...

Oh, you can toss the FMU now that you have bigger MAF/injectors and tune...now your power pipe will fit, I went through all this with my Kenne Bell

Well i am going back to the dyno on Wed., so i'll let you know how it turns out. Hope this thing lays down some decent #'s or i'll have to drop down pulley sizes again and retune!

My tuner wants to keep the fmu.......he said he's got a few fmu discs lying around. He wants to raise the fuel pressure 4#'s for every psi of boost. With the 24# injectors it was set up to raise fuel pressure 10#'s for every psi of boost. Does this sound right then???? I have alot of confidence in the shop, so we'll see what happens. Thanks for all the input fellas!

Tune went well today and car is running great! We even figured out the fan settings were shut off somehow........That's why the fan was set up on a toggle switch! Fan operates like it should now set to kick on @ 165. According to their chassis dyno the car laid down 518hp @ 6700rpm and 450lb. torque @ 5000rpm. Running 10-12psi with methanol injection and can't remember the final timing numbers. I will post when i call them.

Thanks dude!! Gonna get to the strip and see what kind of #'s I can get out of it. I have never attempted drag racing, so it should be a blast or atleast fun to watch! I will just be happy not killing it during the burnout
