 oil on spark plugs
hey there, well I finnaly got the chanced to replace the spark plugs on my 1996 mustang cobra, and well as I was do in it I noticed some sticky feel on the sockets as well as around the chambers were the plugs go, the 1st thing in my mind was the oil, but as I remove plug # 4 and # 6 the socket came out full of oil, I got scared how can these be is it the valve cover gasket?
i put my finger in the chamber and theres this rubber thing i feel and i think thats were is leaking, the car drives fined with no smoke coming from the exhaust of stuff like that. so is this a common problem due to old age, or is it something major? sorry guys I only had 5.0 in my life never ever had a 4.6 dohc engine before this is my 1st.
