I think I have the engine in time , all that is left is installing cam tencheners and putting in the followers , but I saw on horsepower TV that if you dont dial in the cams on a cobra you could lose 40 horsepower is that true, if it is are there anyone that will come to your shop and do this job for cash?, thanks, Danny

Yeah it is true, any new cam you put in should be dialed in checked. When I say checked, I mean compared to the specs on the cam card. If you don't dial it in correctly, your cam timing could be off and that you don't want. It's not just the Cobra, any motor you install a cam in should be done with a degree wheel. You think about it, the cam is the brain of the engine and if it's off you will lose power. The rest is in the tune, Mike. SCT Tuner.
