Default strut brace for 97 cobra

i wanna put a jlt intake on my 97 cobra but im gonna have to loose my sturt brace so i was wondering if theres a company that sells one that fits over it ?

I don't know about fitting a bar over the new intake but I know you can ditch the brace and never know the difference. I never noticed the difference and everything I have read says that you will only see a max of 1/4'' deflection under hard cornering. That is nothing considering a rearend will move up to 2'' without a panhard bar.

Going into the shop this winter, looking for 650 RWHP.

yeah, the bar is basically just dead weight on the front, I never missed mine after the blower install...subframe connectors are the way to go to reduce all that factory flex...

if i'm not mistaking they stop making them on the 97 cobra. Some have them and some don't. If ford stop putting them on the cobras that tells you they didn't do to much for it

I ended up grinding a bit out of the passenger side brace to fit my intake. it was part of the flange bracket. rounded up the edges works fine for me.
