Default slight hesitation on a 1997 Mustang Cobra

i just finished my lower springs an cc plates but now i feel like the car is hesitating a little i dont think its got anything to do with the springs but when im say in 2nd between 1-2000 rpm n give it some gas it bogs once or twice n then takes off it never did this before....i was thinking maybe slipping clutch but the clutch is practically new spec stage 3 now im wondering maybe its my tranny or rear... i know its a very general description but it just started so im trying to eliminate possibilities...is there a way to check if the rear is bad?

The hesitation sounds fuel related to me. Clutch slippage would cause surging not the opposite. If the rear was bad you would know it. It will make noises and you would experience the problem in any gear at any speed. Mostly when it is under load though, like when you are eccelerating. Are you sure you didn't somehow pinch the fuel line when lowering the car? Did I see that your car is carburated? Check your accelerator pump. Or perhaps your vacuum advance if you have one.

Its ok. Not worth the money since I never use sixth gear. In fact, I never use fifth gear. I drive a couple hundred miles a year and almost none of those miles are highway miles. The trans was not hard. I used an 03 aluminum drive shaft with a spacer.
