Default Oil dip stick reading 03 cobra

What level on the oil dip stick is a normal level?
should it be at the top, half way?

It all depends on what capacity you think your Cobra takes.
I hope it's getting to be common knowledge that 7 quarts is the way to go, this brings the oil level on the dipstick(after the car has been driven, oil filter and cooler lines filled then a chance to sit and fill the pan) near the very end of the smooth part right under the M in Max on my car!

it's always been told...anywhere between the markings. but like mentioned, i'd rather have it very close to the max marking.

Thanks for that advice,I think it may need a quart, it is a little lower than the 1/2 point.
