I am thinking about putting a second battery in my car and a higher amperage alternater on and I am trying to find out if there is anyone who has done this and the result that came from running duel batteries?

No real need for it unless your running a BIG Stereo with 3 or more Amps..

why I don't see any reason to have 2 batteries and it's going to add more weight to your car
