hi i just bought a 1994 cobra and it is pretty much stock. at idle it sounds and feels like it has a mile cam. is this normal?

Give her a fresh set of plugs, wires, and a compression test and see if it still idles at a lope.

i gave her a full tune up but i havent done a compresion test. so it not suppose to lope like that?

It's a 94 so it's been through it's most formative years of hotrodding. It's typically the second owner that does the mods. Very possible you have a beefier cam. If it runs strong, don't sweat it and be happy the previous owner saved you some dough.
