Default 1996 Cobra Oil Cooler Problem.

So here's the story.

My Cobra hasn't been running for a while, it would start up but shut down pretty much immediately.

I decided it had to be a head gasket or something along the lines of that. When I flushed the radiator a chocolate milk like substance (oil in the coolant) came out. So I decided it was going to take pulling the motor out, and checking everything to figure out what was wrong.

After pulling the motor out (which is sitting on my engine stand in my garage right now. The water pump, heads and pretty much the whole top half of the block were filled with the sludge chocolate milk substance. But the lower half (crack housing and oil pan) were filled with black normal oil. Not a trace of the milky substance.

Head gaskets are fine, seems to be no cracks/holes in the cylinder walls.

The only thing I can think of now, is the Oil Cooler. Does the 1996 Cobra come stock with a Oil Cooler and is it this:

If that is the problem, how do I go about fixing it. Quick help would be much appreciated!

Yes, that is the engine oil cooler. Check the sealing "o" ring...

How do I go about taking the cooler off of the adapter plate?

Here's a picture of the o-ring. Looks ok to me. Is it supposed to be flat on both sides, or rounded like a thermostat o-ring?
