Default 1999 cobra convertible sound system help

im looking to upgrade my cobras sound system. i want two kicker L5s 12s but dont know if they will fit in the trunk and also dont know if its worth spending all the money if they are gonna sound like garbage so if anyone can help me with custom box ideas or thing that have worked for them i would apreciate it and by the way dont want to rear seat delete any input would be very helpful

a buddy of mine fit his 12 inch l5's into the trunk using a standard box. he didn't have the Mach so it was an easier fit. i had 2 10's that i could wedge under the amps. i would take measurements and a sound shop should make a box that fits. or like the mach 1000 you can separate the subs and put them into the back corners of the trunk.

Really you don't need that many. I put a dual voice coil 400W RMS Kicker 12" sub in a 16"x 16" x 11" seal box. Filled the box with polyfoam, and used a Sony Explod 400W RMS amp. I can bounce quarters on the deck lid. I usually drive around with the amp preouts between -9 and -11. Depending on wether the top is up or down.
