Why is it that nowadays everyone's always looking for some kind of an angle?

First of all, you did not provide a lot of information so be careful with your remarks or you will really turn people off. Second, there have been a lot of driveline vibratons associated with higher gears - have you installed gears? You might try rotating your driveshaft 90 degrees. Third, there isn't much you can do with pinion angle unless you have installed aluminum or delrin front differential bushings. The stock bushings have no adjustability unless you use washers to move the front of the differential.

Nice attitude...that'll get you alot of help. Try giving as much information about the car/question that you can. That will help whoever is trying to answer you, give better advice.

To answer your question, unless you or someone else changed something in the driveline (other than adding poly bushings), the driveline angles were not compromised. By changing something, I am talking about a transmission(i.e replacing the T5 with a TKO or T56) to something that wasn't in the car to begin with or a rear end housing.

Driveline angles on a passenger car needs to be between 2* and 3*. The tail housing and the pinion yoke need to be equal angles but in opposite planes. In other words a -2* and a +2* or a -3* and a +3* etc....

To check the angles you need to get angle readings from the bottom of the tail housing case (call this A), the middle of the driveshaft tube, call this B and with the pinion yoke turned vertically, get a reading directly off of the pinion yoke, call this one C.

Now take A-B = front u-joint working angle and then take C-B= rear u-joint angle. It is these 2 working angles that determine if you have a vibration or not. They need to be equal but opposite (+2*, -2*, +3* -3*) and cannot vary by more than 1/2*. None of your readings can exceed 5*

Obamacare my a$$ We are all going to pay for electing this tool.

Remember, it is almost impossible for anyone, myself included, to diagnose a problem over the internet without seeing the car. My advice is simply that, advice based on years of experience. I don't want you or anyone taking my word as gospel. I am trying to give some direction as to what I think may be happening.
