Hey guys, I have had my 1999 cobra for a few months now and have yet to do anything to the engine. Any tips on what i should start out with?

is it bone stock? id start with a cold air intake, then chip and exhaust

+1 but no chip, go with an Xcal or Diablo tuner.

yes tuner is better if you know what your doing, bbk cai is fine, bassani i think sound great, its what my buddy has, its choppy at high rpm and growlly at low rpm... go to youtube for exhaust sounds for 99 cobras. MGW makes great short throw shifters for your car. check em out.

I think before you throw anything at it you need to evaluate where you want to be and be realistic about it, buy only parts that will go toward your goal, you will save bunch of money in the long run.

Well i would really like to get some serious horsepower but money is a issue seeing on how im only 18, so i cant really afford a supercharger. So for now i think i just am going for some bolt ons with a little power and i would like for it to sound better.
