Default 03 cobra question

I still want to know how much play is normal in the 6 speed trans, it just seems like allot of loseness in there.

Where are you thinking there is play. If you are saying the factory shifter I agree with you. This is why virtually all Mustang owners and especially Cobra owners put in aftermarket shifters. I have a Steeda triax. If you don't have a short throw, get one. It's the best + - 200 $ you will spend. The factory shifter feels like rowing an ax handle through a tub of gummy bears after installing a short throw.

I have the steeda tri-ax in mine, but I still have some trouble shifting, and as far as power shifting goes forgett about it!!!!!
