I want to change the spark plugs out of my Cobra and the ones they recommended from the parts store were NGK Iridium IX (TR55IX). ANyone recommend/not recommend these? ALso if I do use these what should I gap them to? Thanks

GREAT plugs but you don't need to spend the extra $$$ on the Iridiums, just get the copper core NGK V Power Tr-55's. I close my gap a bit from the stock recommendation(.054) to .048!

Thanks, I actually ended up buying the Iridiums when they recommended them but I know how sometimes they try to push parts that arent really whats best for your car. Just wanted to see what you guys thought. Why the smaller gap on the plugs? What improvement will I get by doing that? Thanks for the help

If their already installed with the factory gap you don't have to change it now! Closing the gap reduces the chances of spark blowout!
