99 up Owners - Will they fit?

My 99 Cobra has Eibach ProKit rear springs. Front has a coil-over setup. Front height is adjusted for a level car. There's about a finger width, say half-inch, clearance between the stock 245-45x17 tire and the coilover spring.

I want to install 18x9 Ford Racing wheels.

Will they fit without rubbing?

What would my max no-rub tire size be? I'd like to go larger than 245-40x18 because the guy at Tire Rack says that tire size puts the rim first for curb strikes. (These wheels will be the street wheels only, no track use.)

265/40s will work but might rub a bit with the front sway bar when turning.

ive put 275's on my front an had no problems except getting one stolen! the ride is nicer handling is supreme and it just feels like you are driving that much meaner of a car knowing that extra 30mm is working to keep you hooked up! wider is better!

i have 265/35/18s at all 4 corners with no rubbing. but i dont have a coilover set up either.
