The car is in the garage right now. Weather is not good enough for me to get it out. I know the car runs rich. It throws the check engine light occasionaly. I suspected that I was going to need to switch to a SCT for the best results when I go to get it tuned?? Would the elevation im at have any thing to do with it??

Please don't ditch the Predator cause you heard from some Joe Schmo that SCT is better, it's all about the person behind the keyboard writing the Custom Tune, I know a guy with a 1000HP turbo 03 Cobra using Diablo software for tuning and obviously it's been Very Effective. And elevation could have a little to do with your rich fuel another reason why you should get a custom tune file written and not the canned one. Do you know how to use the Datalog function on your Predator? Here's a cool clip of the Cobra..

I kind of thought that the tuner it shouldnt matter that much. That it should be the guy using the software. I guess It will maybe depend on where I get the tuning done at. Yea I should be able to use the diablo I also have a snap-on scanner that will prob. do it. Like I said before Im looking to do all the little things that will help squeeze that last 10-20 hp out of it at the end to meet my goal. Is there one specific CAI intake that flows more than others. I still think im goin to try a bigger maf also. Maybe the shelby 110mm

switching the air meter shouldn't be needed but you should datalog the MAF Counts and Voltage to see if it's close to maxed, if so get a Diablosport Mafia! The JLT RAI is used by a majority of the 03-04 Cobra guys! I quarantee once you get your air fuel and spark advance dialed in right you'll make up that 10 hp and then some!
