If you did get one off ebay, i would definitely send it in. some people are honest and probably swapped to a KB or Whipple. Some overspun them and so on and won't tell you about it. +1 on sending them in for a port and front bearing rebuild.

Well anybody that has a terminator engine just laying around and they want to sell it cheap I will more than happy to take the short block, heads and intake off their hands( you can keep the Eaton), then I can just crank up my KB and drop it in my 96 cobra...oh while you're at it, toss in that 6 spd...thanks, reply here at AFM

Poor guys been on Pirate! I used to lurk there for years watching DMR give the west coasties hell. You will find us much more polite. I've answered the same exhaust, shifter, CAI question at least 20 times. Not a problem. The biggest difference between this site and Pirate is we promote our hobby to everyone. No question is dumb. We sometimes have fairly young kids post and you just gotta be gentle because someday they will own our current prides and joy. Fine autos are like fine guns, we never truly own them, we just caretake them for the next generation. My son has notified me long ago that my Built Toyota 4x4 and my Cobra are his when he gets big.

Thanks for all the input! It definitely sounds like its not worth all the work for the cost. I dont think I can afford to have another vehicle that I stick a ton of money into that I will never get back. My jeep is good enough at that already. I think Ill stick with exhaust and rims for now until I can't resist the itch any longer.
