Default 1997 Mustang Cobra rear end problem

Hey new to the forum but Id figure I would get some help here. I have a 97 cobra and since I have bought it the rear end always seems kinda loud and 50 and up. I put it on the lift today and ran it it up to about 70 mph so see if I could figure out the noise! My right side seal started leaking! No big deal Im gonna change it! I though it was kinda weird it did not leak before hand (or I did not notice it) Here is the second question I have the Ford racing Dif plate and The fill hole seems very high anbout 3inches from the top of the diff. Should I fill to the hole and is this the normal level? Also does anyone else have the same noise which seems loud inside the car? I bought new bearings and seals so Im gonna replace them aand I hope it fixes everthing but I just wanted to get second opinions!
