Default JLT Carbion Fiber intake for 2004 Cobra

Recently purchased the JTL carbon fiber cold air intake for my 04 cobra. It is the big boost intake. My car is currently running 10psi and making 468 rwhp. I am just wondering if it is a bad idea to put the intake on my car or should I wait til I am running the 20psi that the kit is made for. If I do install the intake about how much hp am I looking to gain?

Your making 468RW only putting out 10psi with a stock air box??
What are your Mods?

This is actually my car. I didnt realize that my dads account was opened. I am not very sure. I bought the car about two months ago and was curious of how much power it was puttin down so i got it dynoed. From what I know performance wise it has an aftermarket throttle body, bassani exhaust, steeda cold air intake, pulley but im not sure what size. Honestly im not sure what all it does have but this is all I know.

you might have had the guy who dyno'd put in something wrong. Im not familiar with the 03/04's (or technically the 99/01's really either... im pretty new) but that number seems pretty high.

well my dads mustangs got 480rwhp after his new pulley and when we pull were side by side till around 120 then i slowly pull away so i disagree with you. Im not sure what all my car has done to it. Wasnt really looking to talk about it. If you were curious to what I wanted to discuss in this thread then scroll up.

OK if you pulley an Eaton, do exhaust,TB,CAI then it obviously has a Custom tune as well so that 468 sounds more do able now but your obviously getting more than 10 psi of boost!!

Maybe the blower is ported. A ported blower at 10# will produce more HP than an unported blower at 10#'s. Not really sure. I'm kinda thinking this guy had the car pretty hopped up and put it close to stock before selling it. As far as the CAI, I wouldn't see a problem installing it. Another thing to look into is the crank pulley. Is the bracket still installed next to the crank pulley? If not, then it is a larger crank pulley than stock.
