I have been having some issues with my power steering resevoir losing fluid. I havejacked the car up turned the steering wheel and can't see a leak. I have put some pink dye in it even and still see nothing. When I get done driving the car there is no leak but when I go in the driveway the next morning there is small puddle of fluid which has to be power steering because everything else is fine.
I just happened to notice the other day while looking at the pump there was a small pink liquid(the dye) coming from what appeared to be a weep hole on the power steering pump. Is this correct. I have only seen them on waterpumps. My hoses don't seem to be leaking at all and the puddle is always in the same spot right under the pump. Can anyone help with this problem, please?
