Default 1998 cobra starting problems

Hello everyone, Im new to the site. I was wondering if anyone could help. I am having starting problems with my 98 cobra. It usually takes about 5 turns of the key to get it to start, but when it finally starts it runs fine. Any help is much apreciated. Thanks

That's weird I had same problem with my 98 Cobra. It was my clutch relay switch, I believe thats what my mechanic called it. It used to take me 3 turns to get it started. Also,it was becoming sluggish while acclerating, that turned out to be my fuel filter. It was very dirty,(almost clogged) and I had it changed, now it starts with no problem and excelerates fast, just like when it was new.
