so i am still working on saving up for the rebuild of my cobra. i want to eventually add a kenne bell to it. do you think it is worth all the money? or should i just do a general rebuild and then eventually sell the car and buy one with an S/C already on it?

It will probably be cheaper to buy a used terminator in the long run. The 98 will require all the supporting mods the 03-04 already have in place.

yeah, i was kind of thinking the same thing. i dont know if its really worth it.

and just another quick question...you think my stock rebuilt 98 will beat my trash talking buddys stock rebuilt 89 iroc camaro? im pretty confident i just need some reassurance haha

I added it all up for someone the other day, you will need $17K to do the full mod for KB/forged motor and upgrade the suspension...better to sell car and buy terminator (heck you can keep your car and buy the Terminator outright for what it costs for all the mods), it has the 6spd and IRS too...you might consider a terminator engine swap if you can score a deal on a takeout. Oh yeah, not only is it cheaper you have to have the cash in hand to do mods, a whole car can be financed...you can get 6-7 for your car, get a good Terminator for $18-20K, do a few mods and have about $5K leftover.

You should stomp his Iroc if it's stock...why he didn't put an LS1 in it is beyond me.

yeah i dont know, kinda crazy. hes been talking a lot of trash. hes pretty much convinced it can take a terminator. i dont know what hes thinking. he might be in denial cuz he knows a stang is faster. i think its time to go out and shut him up.
