Hey guys, I'm TOTALLY new to this stuff so help a NEWBIE out. I want the best Exhaust for my SVT. My question is this:

1. Do I have to go with a "X" Pipe and new CATs? and a CAT back system with mufflers OR

Do I just go with a plain CAT Back system?

2. What is the better CAT back and "X" Pipe system?

I see that there is a BIG difference in the Price between BORLA, Bassini and MAGNAFLOW, WHY? & whick one is better.

One person said to go with the Magna Flow CAT BACK and the Bassini "X" Pipe?? I don'r know who to believe.

What about "TUNERS"? Do I go withg a Predator or a "Super Chip"

What about changing the Thermostat to a 180 degree?

I'm going to keep the STOCK blower pully as I was told this is the first place FORD looks and they will VOID your warranty if you change it and run into problems.

What about the Hurst shifter?

Who has the BEST Prices for these items?

I love the car and it goes like a Bat outa hell!

personnally i would just get the cat-back and not swap out the h-pipe if you are really worried about warranty. most dealers will differ on their opinion of warranty issues.

I like the Borla Stinger system. The Magnaflow is right there with it too. both are good quality. Bassani...well you will be paying for the name.

Preditor vs SCT. well this is really up to opinion. I know guys who swear by either one and have had good results with either also. both systems can have downloads updating the tuner. SCT has a computer link so you can get upgrades from the tuner and download it to the car. I'm not sure if the predetor can do this without sending it back to them.

shifters...keep your stock one for when you take the car back for warranty work. I have heard the shifters voiding the tranny warranty. although the stock shifter causes more damage to the tranny.

180 thermo. not really needed with only a exhaust change.
