Disabling the Factory Alarm

So, last night was the final straw. I used my Viper Keyless Entry to unlock my doors, and found that I had accidentally locked my car using the button on the car itself. This caused my car alarm to go off as I clumsily tried to slide my key into the lock and disable it. Did I mention it was 3 in the morning? I have a very good aftermarket alarm system, so I'm just looking to disable the factory alarm without having to pull the fuse for my horn, as I've seen advised in other websites. Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's not a crucial repair, but it certainly is a nuisance.

'96 Mustang Cobra - White, Completely Stock and planning to keep it that way!

No matter what you do to a Honda Civic, it's still a Honda Civic. Try spending all that money you wasted under the hood for a real car

why do you need an aftermarket alarm? The pats works great and is almost impossible to defeat..
I'd suspect that whatever you were doing at 3 AM was the cause of your problems and that disabling the factory alarm is not your best course of action.
