Default dynomax

I have the dynomax 3" catback exhaust on my 03 Cobra and like it alot. If you are going for loudest this is not what you want. But if you want a deeper or more throaty soud it's for you. When I had it installed the exhaust guy told me it was comparable to Magnaflow's exhaust. I didn't find a whole lot of info on Dynomax so you can probably use the info on Magnaflow which seems to be more commonly used to do some research. Alot of guys also prefer the more expensive full stainless steel types but you get what you pay for... It definitely is louder then the stock exhaust was but like I said it is a deeper soud with less of the popping noise of the popular flowmasters.

The ram air kit is a waste of money and a piece of ****. How can it be ram air when air has to make atleast two 90 degree turns before it hits the maf?

I had this set up on my 97 GT. At speeds around 65 and up, there was a SOTP difference. The problem was you rammed in rocks, dirt, cigarette buts, leaves, bubble gum wrappers & so on into your $50.00 air filter. Not worth it..

ok back on subject here, I had the Dynomax system on my 02 Gt and simply loved it. I had gotten more comments about how good it sounded from fellow stangers and those with other exhaust systems. the performance is better then flowcrappers and many of the others out there. good bang for the buck.

Actually Dynomax is it's own company. They are based in Racine, WI. At least they used to be.
They have always been the better bang for your buck. I have wanted to get thier cat-back exhaust for the last 9 years. Of course if you want all stainless stell then I would recommend MAC.
I just have never been a fan of Flowmasters.
But I like the thought of surprising on intimidation by noise! :thumbup
