never heard of a grounding kit. but for shifters...you have MANY choices. but i think there are only 2 REAL choices. either a steeda tri-ax or a pro 5.0 i've had a pro 5.0 in each of my last 3 stangs ( a 5.0, a 4.6, and now a dohc 4.6) i haven't had a singlr problem and absolutely love it. but that just my 2 cents!
