hey,

ive been asking around and it appears that if you drop clutch you irs you could break a half shaft or rip a cv boot due to wheel hop and crappy irs. i didnt know this and thanks to some tips online i found out about it. i ran it two good times and it wheel hopped like a mother and i was wondering how you could tell if you brake a half shaft. it seems to be driving fine but just curious. thanks.

The loud bang, bang, bang, bang, bang coming from the rear of the car as you slow down because the halfshaft is slamming into everything close to it would be your first clue its broken.

A broken halfshaft is not a, hmm maybe, maybe not kinda thing, its violent, tragic and very noisy. I am not sure how the cobra IRS is set up, but in every other vehicle i have seen with one it means a loss of power to the wheels also, a total loss of power.
