Known problem with 2k4 Cobra?

I thought I read somewhere awhile back that there was a known flaw in the 2k4 Cobra Engine, is there?

I had a $500 deposit on a 2k5 Mustang, but since I think the interior is not so good, I'm thinking of buying a Mystichrome Cobra they have there.

Any info would be appreciated...

I think the flaw you're referring to was the overheating problem on the early '03's. The problem was fixed with a redesigned head.

The only issue I am aware of other than the heads on the first 03, is that it is a hungry beast!

But it still consumes less fuel than my 96 Exploder which gets about 4-8 MPG in the city. The cobra only stays home when it floods or snows.
