My buddy has a 04 cobra with long tube headers, K&N intake, x pipe, and high boost pully. he wanted me to ask you guys what you think he should do next. what would be best bang for the buck in terms of a low price helping a lot with power and 1/4 mile? thanks for replies
best mod i have done so far..APTEN... do it.. now... he will gain 30rwhp peak.. like i did.. but thru power band he will gain 40+rwhp all over the place

- yeah, it was confusing if did not recognize the name "APTEN" - they (and Stiegemeier's Porting Services) are the blower and intake manifold porting folks. Try here: http://www.apten-us.com/ He's right, they're the hot deal and blower porting is making some real HP. If read their home page looks like they're either now one company or working in same building.

I would say you need to get a predator and get a tune for everything you got. Great thing about the 03-04 cobra's is you don't need much upgrades to get alot of power. After that I guess you can jsut focus on suspensonal parts to get the power to the ground.
Tires... maybe some widder wheels in the back and fat sticky tires. I think 315s will fit.

Higher pressure fuel injectors and NGK Platinum plugs, it'll give him a few more HP and the better injectors will help prevent detonation problems with the increased boost.
The power level you are at now will be sufficient for stock injectors and mass air. If you do decide to go ported blower you will be running full duty cycle on the injectors and probably hitting 5 volts on the MAF. I would suggest 50# injectors, a SCT maf and a custom dyno tune. You should be albe to reach the 500 mark like that. I see cars like that make around 520-530 STD on a dynojet that we have here. I think a heat exchanger and throttle body is all your missing for the basic bolt ons. I think you would be able to turn mid 11's with a set of drag radial tires. We got our 03 cobra to run 11.1-11.2 with that combo. We still have a Ported blower and added a set of cams, 75shot of NX wet juice, and a 4r70w stock mach 1 tranny since then the car has gone a 10.06@138mph! It should maybe hit 9's, just a idea on what these cars are capable of!!
