03/04 Cobra

First off I want to say HELLO to everyone for I am new to this forum, bye the way this forum ROCKS!! Now on to the good stuff, I have decided to purchase another mustang after a 7 year gap of owning one. I used to own a 1993 GT that I absolutely loved. I have been looking for a 03/04 Cobra for the past couple of months, I am hoping to find a stock used one with low miles. I have been doing alot of performance research on these cars and I am having trouble deciding what to do to the car. I want the car to have 550hp and about the same amount of torque to the wheels. I know the basics I was thinking of Bassani headers and full exhaust, K&N Intake, and a Diablo chip. I would like to stick with the stock Blower if at all possible. So my questions to you guys is what do you think I should do next to achieve my HP and Torque goals? One other thing, do you guys know of a company that sells complete front and rear suspension kits that will be good for street/strip? Thanks for your help!!

Well first I have to say "WHAYDA WAIT SO LONG FOR A NEW STANG" you must be married... jk

. sweet deal with the new stang, I love those cobras, sexy sexy. lets see. The bigger the exhaust is the mroe horsepower, the smaller the exhaust, the more torque. The only real way to get huge horsepower is Cubes. With a stock blower, and some add ons I can see you getting around 475 horse on a good day. You'll have to do quite a bit to get 550 BHP and torque.So that means Lots of bottom end and lots of top end. But I have faith in ya. as for a shop that sells street and strip suspension I am not sure, I have never purchased any strip parts myself. But I do know you want to buy fully adjustable parts.Let me know how it turns out.

with an '03, '04 cobra you have forged internals so you dont really need to touch that until you get over 700hp, if even then.

A pully swap would give you more PSI, which will give you more HP =)

a good tune and the other mods you mentioned + pully should get you over 500 fairly quick, beyond that I think your gonna need a super charger change.
