Hey everyone. I am looking into getting a 98 SVT Cobra. It will be my project car (summer/weekend) while in college. Now I am looking to make power out of it. I would like to get a supercharger kit but I cant drop 5k right now on that.

So, I guess all motor is my route. Now what would be the upgrades I need to get a lot of power just for all motor. My goal is to take down turboed civics, evos, and sti's.

You can start by getting all forged internals. After that look into some cams, heads, and intake. Once you have done all of that then start looking into a better exhaust system to let the engine breathe better. Then just normal bolt-ons after that. A good tune wouldn't hurt either.

i would rather have a forged rotating assembly before i put boost to my motor, but thats just me. You could still have a fast car N/A. Just do minor bolt ons with alot of suspension work and maybe a short runner intake with a 50 shot. That would get you in the high 11's if not the low 12's

have you thought about buying a newer model cobra...even a stock lightening will spank most of them...my best friend was a ricer,had an r-type ...he got the truck...

he liked spanking on 2000 mustang gts ...
